Administration
Steve Callander is the executive director and CEO of the nonprofit Boulder Day Nursery Association, which operates Boulder Day Nursery and other programs. Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Services, and a Masters degree in Nonprofit Management. He has an extensive professional and volunteer history in nonprofit health and human services, and has been involved with BDN since 1998.
Bethany Burns is Boulder Day Nursery's program director. She has ECE related degrees, is large center director qualified with the State of Colorado, and extensive ongoing education. She is also involved in a number of community efforts around ECE and has been involved with Boulder Day Nursery since 1996.
The administration and governing board are committed to providing the best early childhood experience and environment available in Boulder County - both for families and our teachers - as well as advocating for and promoting best practices in early education.
