Please excuse this somewhat inelegant solution we're using in conjunction with Google. Doing things this way is worth it though because 100% of your donation goes to the organization (no credit card processing fees and such). If you had in mind an amount different than what you see in the pulldown menus, email steve@boulderdaynursery and we can arrange any denomination you want.
Since 1917, our mission at Boulder Day Nursery has been to provide the highest quality child care, early learning programs and family support services to those families who need them the most, but are the least likely to be able to afford them. Boulder Day Nursery is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization serving primarily low-income working parents.

Contrary to popular perception, there are thousands of low-income families living and working in Boulder County. Boulder Day Nursery provides a nurturing, safe and loving environment for children on a sliding scale fee structure while their parents work and go to school, and work towards increased self-sufficiency. The cost of providing these services is offset by contributions from individuals, foundations and corporations.

There are a variety of ways you can help us make a difference in a child's life, while supporting socio-economic diversity and sustainable communities in Boulder.

To donate online with a credit or debit card, click the "Donate Now" button and you will be directed to Boulder Day Nursery's secure donation website for processing.

Donations to Boulder Day Nursery are eligible for the Child Care Contribution Tax Credit. That means you'll receive a credit equal to 50% of your donation on your Colorado income tax. A donation of $1000 gets the usual Federal tax deduction, PLUS you'll receive $500 back from Colorado at tax time.

Operations & Programs

This is the most direct way for your contribution to have an immediate impact. Contributions to Operations and Programs help offset the costs of professional staff salaries, and supplies such as food, formula and diapers. Contributions made in this area also provide tuition waivers and scholarships for low-income families.

Endowment

Boulder Day Nursery maintains a permanently restricted fund whose interest proceeds are dedicated to providing tuition scholarships for low-income families, as well as professional development activities for teachers. This is an excellent way to leave a permanent legacy and have a lasting impact in our community.

Capital Needs

Boulder Day Nursery built its current home in 1929 on land donated by Hannah Barker and recently finished an extensive renovation of it in 2002. Contributions made to the capital fund will help ensure that we are able to properly maintain our historic home, plan for future facility expansion, and meet the needs of Boulder's next generations.

Naming Opportunities

Unique opportunities exist to permanently associate a donor's name with the Boulder Day Nursery Association, honor a family member, friend or colleague, or inscribe a personal message on particular sections of our historic building. These naming opportunities offer a very special way for you to make a huge difference in the lives of the children who build our future community. Please contact Steve Callander for more information on the details of available naming opportunities.
